Just got My HD system

I got aHd 2 Accell PCI system I'am using a creation Station 2.4 core 2 quad 1066 FSB 2 192 I/O's, antelope ocx word clock. What sampling rate do most of you guys record at 44.1 88.2 196 Just curious can't wait to do my first session on the HD. Waiting for sweetwater to install the core and accell cards, and 8.0 I just recently recorded Gregg allmans Son Micheal Allman IF DREAMS WERE MONEY on a LE sytem back last november it turned out well any suggestion are always welcome I'am always learning Thanks jack

48k 24bit always for me. No need for higher rates unless it is jazz or classical. Then it would be 88/24. Good choice on the clock. Been using that one for 2 years now. GOOD STUFF! Doc

Thanks Doc for the reply My Creation Station should be back Thursday. I record a lot of bluegrass here in KY, thought I would try a Higher sample rate with the Acoustic Stuff Jack

Just depends of track count, etc. Plugins are affected too with it. I personally use alot of outboard so it does not matter really. Just remember that it eats your DSP pretty quick. Doc

Hey doc Real nice Studio, is that a Control 24 ? Are you running HD 3 accell PCI or PCIE Jack

88.2 24 BIT No need for 48k unless you ARE DOING AUDIO FOR VIDEO.
