more speakers

You should have cables running along the side of the car that you could tap into. These come out at the speaker grills in the rear pillars. My first V40 (a base spec 1998 2.0T) didn't have speakers in the rear, but it did have the cables.

i dont know much about my system but it got front speakers, tweeters in the dash, rear speakers in the rear pillers plus a sub built into one of the rear panels.

if i use the wires from the rear speakers it means i then have to run the wires all the way back through the car to get back to the parcel shelf i wondered if i could tap into the wires near the doors. i may have to wait till i buy an amp anyone know a good place to buy one cheap im not really after puonding base just want a bit more volume. im still using the volvo head unit as it seems very good with the sound quality, i do have an old pioneer mini disc head unit and six disc changer but i cant be bothered with using it, although when it was new it was a top of the range best you could buy model.

ive not got any speakers in my rear doors but i have just checked the rear pillars nad it looks like a speaker not a big one but deff a speaker, ive also just fitted fli 5.25 speakers at the front they fitted perfectly. the 6x9s ive got a mutant 4 way jobbies and ive also got 2 12inch mutant subs from my other car but i doubt ile ever fit them as i need the boot space for the dogs.

oh and how do i get at the sub in the side panel ive treid pulling the cover off but it feels solid?
