Among other things, Geoffrey (aka Nicholas) is an exceptional technical writer. I personally am extremely pleased that he has taken on the REAPER manual (largely as a labour of love, at least in the initial stages). Geoffrey has written REAPER's manual to be extremely clear, and extraordinarily helpful (including a goodly amount of valuable advice beyond simply the scope of REAPER). And it has become (IMHO) a shining example for other DAWs and music tech products. If only more companies put out documentation as clear and well thought out as this. Please keep in mind that I offer this critique both as a serious end user of many music tech products and softwares, and also as a professional editor. Geoffrey's REAPER manual takes on the same level of passion and love of clarity, stability and perfection that REAPER's developers are clearly pursuing. It's so great to see the way that like minds and like talents attract each other like magnets. (And Geoffrey, you can use this and put my name to it it anywhere and any time you like. If you don't already know my full name, shoot me a message and I'll give it to you. I remember we talked about this a long while back, and I didn't follow through . . . )
