nicholas what they say is true, it's a hella of a book,i'm half through reading it and i think it's fantastic. I have read things that once understood have a smplicity to them but to think them out in the first place....well that's the difference!
"Up and Running" is awesome, too. I've bought hard copies of both books, and they're worth every penny. It really is fantastic to have such excellent knowledge and advice at your fingertips; it's exactly what I need. The fact that these books are based around REAPER increases their value to me no end. I must also say I'm so grateful of REAPER as well. After a really disappointing experience with another well known DAW, I really feel that fate pushed me towards REAPER. It is one of the best pieces of software I've ever used in any field. And the developers' philosophy gives me new faith.
----------------------------------------- Finally! Got my bucket list car!
Since I am planning to make my first 'deep' steps with Reaper 3, how appropriate are these books (esp. ReaMix) with the upcoming version? Is it too Reaper-specific? Is it too v2 specific? etc... Thanks!

+1 I bought Reamix the other week and I'm really enjoying it. Regardless of how much you might think you already know about production, it still has plenty of surprises :) I almost look forward to mixing my tracks as much as I do writing them! Nice work sir :D
