Undoing volume change messes up max db

MessageAuthor

Hi, I know this is not an important bug.. but I suppose it is one anyway so I'll report it. I looked around and I didn't see a report of this specific bug. When I undo (Ctrl-Z) and the last action was a change in volume the indicator for the maximum reached db level seems to jump to some random weird value, I've seen mostly around -70 to -150. The number seems to appear in any track that had a db volume other then -inf. Here's an image after playback: And here's an image after doing Ctrl-Z: The tracks above are grouped but it also happens to tracks that aren't. I suppose the expected behavior would either to clear the field, or to properly adjust all the levels. I'm running Windows 7 X64. Reaper version is 3.4 x64. If there's anything else you need, let me know :). Gr

Hi, I'm at work now, but I will check that and post the file as soon as I get home (which should be in around 8 hours). Thanks for the quick responses :)

I cannot reproduce this, neither on Reaper x86 nor x64 on W7x64. Hitting Ctrl+Z after play-stop resets the previously adjusted fader and sets all peak indicators to -inf.

Maybe that's why you can't reproduce ...

Now I am reproducing this again and again, even with the original default settings, 40, 120, -62 6. But only on two meters; in the AllReaper project the Verb1 and Verb2 tracks are affected. And yes, I think Steindork is correct, those two verb tracks output audio quite some time after I've pressed stop, so if I press Ctrl+Z before they have fully settled to -inf, they will give readings of arbitrary negative values.
