No midi in my soundcard. Whats the best solution?

Hi, soundblaster in their infinite wisdom manufactured the X-FI without a midi port. Unfortunately, this soundcard came with my computer. Is there a product out there that i can plug in my usb port to get midi? I saw this: Will it work? Plan B: If i hook an old Soundblaster live to my computer, will it be in conflict with my X-FI? can i plug it and use only the midi and keep using the X-FI for audio? I'm really on a budget so i try to find the cheapest way to solve my problem. I have a cool midi piano controler that i haven't used for years... Thanks folks. C.

note - the m-audio uno DOES NOT WORK ON ANY 64 BIT OS. there are lots of cheaper usb gadgets out there... if you find a class compliant one, it'll all just work. Edit: as has been pointed out, this isn't necessarily true. Oops.

I have been very happy with MOTU MIDI Interfaces. I have an 8x8 and a 5x5. They are rock solid with Windows 7 64-bit.
