Digi002, portable?

Just a thought!!!!Is the 002 suppose to be portable? I was just looking and the dimensions and the weight is 15 lbs. Put that in a road case .....

I think it kind of is portable, if you install LE on two computer you can just carry the 002 in a large backpack or something, it would be awkward but it would work. But just because the 002 uses firewire does not mean it was made to be a 'portable' interface.

Did they finally post the dimensions? I've been looking for that and asking the Digi folks, but never got a response. I see they've changed the home page, but I have not looked at the details for a few days... where did you see the dimensions listed at?

mmmmm ...32 tracks, automated mixer, compressors, reverbs, moving faders, mic pres, >50 channels, patchbay, MIDI interface..... 18.9 x17.1 x6.1 inches 15 lbs You'd think they could make it smaller!!!!!!!!!
