Transport help

Ok, I know this is a dumb question but I can't seem to string together the correct keywords in a search of the DUC to get the answer. I'm on a Pro Tools LE 5.3.1 Windows XP system running an Athlon XP 2000 and 512MB of PC2700 memory. When I am viewing my edit window and I click on a certain point in the track with the selector tool (or any tool for that matter), my transport doesn't move to that new cursor position. In other words, when I hit play it starts from the very beginning rather than picking up from the new cursor position. No pre roll is set on the transport window. The system was performing perfectly earlier but I must have changed a setting somewhere on accident. It's driving me bananas. Can someone help? -Andy

RE: Transport help

Thanks! Actually I tried that and it didn't work. . .But I did find what I needed finally. Here's what I needed to check - Operations - Link Edit and Timeline Selections. Thank God. I was losing my mind. Funny how the little stuff like that just drives a person bonkers. Thanks for the quick response! -Andy
