This is beyond noobie but I'm so confused

This is what I want to get to: A simple click when and where I want this note to play. But I have been searching high and low, watching all sorts of tutorials on youtube, but I am still lost. Yeah, I feel like such a noob... but hey, "Don't be embarrassed, nothing is too easy to discuss..."

1. you need to open a blank project 2. create a track 3. insert/new midi item 4. right click the item and 'open items in editor'

Double clicking inserts and also deletes a note Right mouse and drag to lasso/select notes Cheers
