I would love to offer any assistance however, I have never been able to confirm whether DP 2.7 supported DAE/DSI 5.0 (required for Digi001 hardware). I would suggest contacting MOTU regarding this issue. It would be very helpful to myself and other users to post any updates on MOTU's compatibility. 001 with Digital Performer

Help! DP does not want to recognize the DAE. When I try to configure hardware by selecting Digisesign direct i/o, a message tell me that device is not available. When I try to select the DAE, a message tells me that device can not be found on the harddrive. Any suggestions?

I don't know, I've tried everything, even changing the slot that the PCI card sits in. I get the same message. Too bad...I wanted to be able to use DP 2.7. Anybody having luck using Logic Audio with 001?

I had the same problem. It seems that he MIDI driver for the Digi001 has conflict when used with DP. You have to remove the Digi001 from OMS (you won't be able to use the MIDI interface of the Digi001) If this doesn't work try installing Protools, OMS and FreeMIDI again and then remove the Digi001 from OMS again. Be shure to boot the computer with the built in sound enble and not with digidesign. I think Vision has the same problem too. After doing this Performer worksperfectly with Digi001. Good luck!
