11R- "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware."

Hey guys, I've been getting this message recently while starting up PT: "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. Click "OK" when the hardware is ready." I've had the 11R for about 10 months & never got this message until recently. It happens about once a day (& the 11R is always connected to my mini mac). If it does, then I'll restart the computer & then PT will work but it's a little worrisome. Anybody know what's going on & how to fix this? The only change recently is that my mac mini is using the Air Port to connect to a wireless router. Thanks, David

I've posted about this multiple times and gotten no answer. For me it happens whenever I open a Web browser. I'm using the latest Firmware, most recent version of Pro Tools on an iMac w/ 10.5.8. I love my 11R but this really bums me out. Having to restart my computer and Pro Tools every time I want to check my email or look something up sucks.

Disable airport when using protools. This is easy stuff that is in the trouble shooting thread. If you need to check email while recording, get an iPhone.

To be honest with you, I don't have this problem. I can surf and check email and listen to iTunes with Protools open and a number of other things. What browser are you using and have you considered making the leap to Snow Leopard?

The only time I run into this problem is if I powerdown the 11R with protools still open. Really annoying that no matter what you do, you can't fix that without rebooting the whole computer. My guess is that it's more of an USB type of problem then. Try using a different cable/USB port and see if that helps.
