Audiosuite vs. plugins - different levels?

MessageAuthor

usually i use plugins all the time, recently i went to save settings and open the audiosuite versions to print a plugin to a file. when i did, the audio level dropped dramatically, even though i printed the exact same settings to file as i was using in RTAS. shouldn't the two methods both produce the exact same results (minus any delay compensation for the RTAS plugs)? am i missing something?

Yes, the results should be the same. Which plug-in were you using? Have you tried the 'General Troubleshooting' steps to eliminate a possible corrupt preference file?

T-Reacks Comp was one, T-Racks EQ was another... i will try other plugins to see if it is different plus check for corrupt preferences. thanks for the info!
