Reason Question

Does anybody know why all the patches in my Reason 2.5 are a whole step off? I mean that an A shows up as really sharp B. And there's not enough adjustment in the master tuner to fix it. Has anybody ever seen this?

It's your keyboard. This same thing happened to me with my radium 61; Hit Midi select on the controller and you'll see it says A1 set it to A0, look at the keys on your keyboard where there are markings that say velocity, depth, etc.... and look for the sharp and flat keys; this changes from a1 to a0 Or vica versa; I forget which one mine was on but when I did this it corrected the problem. Good luck is right. This sucks. My controler is a Novation remote 61 and I don't have a midi select button.

Look at the documentation for your controller. When I had an emu controller I think it was called transpose and it would let me do it in half step increments. I'll call a friend of mine this week; I think he still as his novation; I'll post up and let you know.

Look Under Note Value (menu) page 2 If it's c2 change to C1. Hope that helps. You are right; the documentation is ridiculous!
