i selected the option so it doesnt but when muting a track with a send, Perf Meter still shows CPU use for effects, even if all tracks are muted. Might not be a bug, maybe neccessary for Solo In Place?

...or how about making the kb shortcut for "Toggle Mute for track 2" etc. follow the mouse logic and select the track at the same time... ...then i can make a macro with eg. "toggle mute tk2" then "toggle fx bypass of selected track". ...or an option to disable cpu use of plugs used on muted and routed tracks(inc the master). ...or is this only happening for me?

what about posting your settings for "always run track fx" "do not process muted tracks" first and also the details of your problem/routing!?
