MessageAuthor

Just wondering what people are running (laptop wise) and a good brand/processor/ram/speed etc. Any advice appreciated.

have you tried doing a "search" and using the term "laptop"?

What fo you consider Reasonable? I lucked out and picked up a used ( 2 months old) HP NC8430, Core 2 Duo T7200 laptop for $1300. It rcks. Another option is the following one: It's the same one that Sonica sells as a Audio Laptop. Except configure it will cost about $1500,- instead of $2k. I would get the WSXGA+ screen, because you'll really wat the extra real estate for Audio programs. For now, stay away from the Dells if you want to use firewire. I just sent my D820 back, because firewire isn't properly working on it.
