Note properties window

MessageAuthor

Could it stay open so we can edit multiple notes , instead of having to right click and select it for each note?

It stays open here. I think the Note properties and the MIDI channel filter should be visible on a single panel as a sidebar to the midi editor.

Stays open, but hides behind a floating MIDI editor window. Agree with integration of both filter and properties into the editor window itself. And would love to have an event properties window from the piano roll, now we can select CC there. Plus the event properties window (from the event list) is still non-modal (is that the term, if it has to be confirmed and closed in order to select a new event?).

I see, I have to move it aside and select apply for each edit. But I like the idea of adding it to the midi editor as a sidebar.
